The Hawker A-Fair at Chatz Brasserie
The term "hawker" was once used to describe food vendors who moved their wares around in mobile carts, sending children and their parents scrambling from their homes into the streets to buy their favourite snack. The roving hawker was a familiar fixture in the neighbourhood. Then came the roadside hawker, setting up shop on the streets after dark, when parking lots were emptied by cars and replaced by wooden tables and stools, and a pushcarts which doubled as a kitchen. Hawker-style food or 'street food' remains hugely popular in the Malaysian lifestyle.

Chatz Brasserie presents a truly local experience in March and April with its "HAWKER A-FAIR" buffet dinner!
Taste local hawker dishes prepared by their awesome chefs a la minute at the various live action stalls with huge offerings also available at buffet line. This is the place where traditional hawker fare meets hotel congeniality!

Live action stations manned by 'hawker chefs' will serve up your favourite local dish piping hot. From the 'House of Noodles' comes a veritable selection of noodles - prawn mee, mee rebus, assam laksa, curry mee, wanton noodles soup and more....
Not forgotten is the Chinese wok stall, serving char kuey teow and the popular oyster omelette.
The staple chick rice stall is also present...
There's roti canai stall, tosai, murtabak fix, all prepared upon request by their chets as well. Other dishes like popiah and rojak buah they serves as well... satay too!
