Cocktail Workshop at Social@KL, G Tower

Honestly speaking, I was hoping to go for this workshop since long time ago after attending TimeOutKL's coffee journey with illy...I learnt so much during the TimeOutKL's coffee journey! Was looking forward for this the moment I knew that I'm going for this workshop...

So what is a cocktail?

A cocktail is an alcoholic mixed drink that contains two or more ingredients — at least one of the ingredients must be a spirit.

Cocktails were originally a mixture of spirits, sugar, water, and bitters. The word has come to mean almost any mixed drink that contains alcohol. A cocktail today usually contains one or more kinds of spirit and one or more mixers, such as soda or fruit juice. Additional ingredients may be ice, sugar, honey, milk, cream and various different types of herbs.

Cocktail has been around for quite some times, but there is a misperception about it. People tends to think that cocktail is actually a gal's drink, ie margarita, or even long island tea. Sad to say, those people are not only at the wrong side, but has actually downgraded the value of a Cocktail. Cocktail is actually an excellent electioneering potion, inasmuch as it would renders the heart stout and bold, at the same time that it fuddles the head.

So the main reason why TimeOutKL is running this workshop, it is to install the correct idea of what a Cocktail actually is to Malaysian. It is not just an alcohol, it is not gal's drink, it is more than that!

the ingredients to prepare it...

ok, the ingredient is, 1 and half shot of vodka, half shot of fruit spirit and 4 to 6 pieces of kiwi fruits.... put it all together and SHAKE it..yes shaaaakeee it! XD

APPARENTLY, we were told, with the skill of making a nice cocktail, you could get a girl easily...and maybe get laid?! haha according to Steven! haha

So after observing and learning how to make a nice cocktail, it is time for us to sit down and chill for a bit.....
