Wet Market, Kota Kinabalu

Been to any Wet Market before?

Well, since young I've been following my mum to Wet Market every morning to get fresh fishes, chicken, veges and what not.....Well, my mum still loves to buy stuff from the Wet Market, because firstly, it's fresh and of course it is waaay waay cheaper compared to Tesco, Carrefour, Jusco and what not...

When I was in Kota Kinabalu, my friend was so amazed by the sizes of the seafood there...hence, we decided to pay a visit to the Wet Market there...*well i was actually amazed too la* haha jakun not?! =D

The first thing we see when we entered

freaking big right the fish?!

Check out the fish in stripes and the fish in blue....I wonder could you actually eat it?
dunno poisonous or not? =S

Porcupine Fish
can eat or not? =S

Check this out.....
how much do u think it is? cheaper or more expensive compared to KL or Penang?
guess how much is all the above? the clamp, crab and what not?!
well, in KL or Penang, it can be easily up to RM30 per kilo....well, it's only RM5 per kilo there!
sickness wei! arrghhh! i wanna move to Kota Kinabalu!! arghhh

Check out the crab?!

big ass crab!

Where is it?
It's at the city center! You can't miss it, just right beside the
Pasar Kraftangan and Philippines' Market..

Do check it out if you're a seafood lover!

Wow...it is interesting to see they are selling fugu here. Isn't it a bit dangerous? :p

Wow! Thks for sharing these pix! I'm surprised they sell Fugu so openly. U need skills to cut & remove the poison from the fish. Even not all the professional chefs are licensed to do that. Scary!

Haha :D Its great to see our seafood from our wet market right?? :D

I did asked the seller before
"Boleh makan kah tu?" And he answered
"Semua jual sini boleh makan." Indirectly saying, ofcoz what we put here can eat la wei!
